- Prof. Nick Pavlakis is a medical oncologist with 25 years’ experience in clinical and translational research. He trained in anti-angiogenic drug development and has an interest in new drug development and evaluation of drug resistance, and biomarker selection in lung cancer, mesothelioma, and GI malignancies, including NETs.
- He is study co-chair of several national and international co-operative group studies, including the recently completed AGITG CONTROL NET study and the ongoing INTEGRATE studies in advanced oesophago-gastric cancer; the TOGA ASPiRATION study, evaluating upfront comprehensive genomic profiling in newly diagnosed advanced lung cancer, and the upcoming TOGA ASPiRATION-2L study incorporating routine ctDNA in the decision making treatment algorithm for patients with oncogene driven NSCLC.
